Desmopan® and Texin® have the combined characteristics of rubber and thermoplastic material.
There properties can be tailored to a large variety of applications that includes automotive, sports and leisure, electrical and industries operating in extreme conditions such as the offshore oil industry. Desmopan® and Texin® can also be extruded into wafer-thin film which is extremely tear resistant and suitable for packaging, watertight textile coatings and as a composite film for bullet-resistant safety glass.
Following the Acquisition of Taiwan Ure-Tech Group on 1st July 2007 – Bayer MaterialScience is now the largest supplier and solution provider in the world of thermoplastic polyurethanes.
